What happens when you reach out
Talk to admissions
Call or WhatsApp at any hour. We ask a few short questions about the person, what they use and any safety concerns.
Assessment
We assess withdrawal risk and mental health needs and recommend the right programme and length of stay.
Admission
We plan the admission day with you and tell you exactly what to bring. Detox starts under nursing supervision.
Treatment programmes
- First days
Medically supervised detox
Withdrawal is managed by our nursing professionals so it is as safe and comfortable as possible, and a doctor sees every client on admission.
- 28 days to 3 months
Primary programme
Group and individual therapy, motivational interviewing, creative and experiential therapy and the 12 Step programme, with a personal treatment plan.
- 6 months recommended
Secondary programme
An extension of the primary programme focused on life skills and everyday routine in a safe, supervised setting, which gives the best chance of lasting recovery.
Treatment for alcohol and drug addiction, and what sits underneath it
Addiction rarely comes alone. Our clinical psychologist and consulting psychiatrist assess and treat depression, anxiety and trauma alongside it.

Many people don't walk into rehab on their own. Often a parent, partner or child makes the first call.
- Call us before you talk to them. We'll help you plan what to say and what to do if they say no.
- Choose a calm, sober moment. Talk about what you have seen and how it affects the family, not about blame.
- Have a date ready. When they agree, a booked assessment and a bed let them act on it the same day.
“You have given me hope, challenged me to address my personal defects, and equipped me with the tools needed to face life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.”
What families ask first
All questions and answersDo you accept medical aid?
Most medical aids are accepted. Send us your scheme and plan details and we will confirm cover and the medical aid rate before admission.
Do you offer detox?
Yes. Detox is medically supervised by our nursing professionals, and a doctor’s consultation is included in the registration fee. Withdrawal is managed so it is as safe and comfortable as possible before therapy begins.
How long is the programme?
The primary programme runs from 28 days to 3 months. The secondary programme continues the work with a focus on life skills, and a minimum of 6 months is recommended. Stays of 1 to 12 months are possible, and the length is agreed with you based on the person’s needs.
What if my loved one refuses to go to rehab?
This is very common. Talk to our admissions team before you talk to them. We can help you plan the conversation, choose a calm moment when they are sober, and be ready with a firm date and a bed so the decision can be acted on straight away.
