Yes. The admissions team answers calls and WhatsApp messages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 060 967 1047. If someone is in immediate danger, call 112 from a mobile phone or 10177 for an ambulance first. ### How does admission work? Start with a call or WhatsApp. Admissions asks a few short questions about the person, what they use and any safety concerns. An assessment follows, and once a programme is agreed we plan the admission day with you and tell you exactly what to bring. ### What if my loved one refuses to go to rehab? This is very common. Talk to our admissions team before you talk to them. We can help you plan the conversation, choose a calm moment when they are sober, and be ready with a firm date and a bed so the decision can be acted on straight away. ### What should we bring on admission day? Admissions sends a full checklist when the admission is booked. Usually this includes an ID document, medical aid details if you are using medical aid, any current medication and prescriptions, and comfortable clothing for the stay. ### Do you offer detox? Yes. Detox is medically supervised by our nursing professionals, and a doctor’s consultation is included in the registration fee. Withdrawal is managed so it is as safe and comfortable as possible before therapy begins. ### How long is the programme? The primary programme runs from 28 days to 3 months. The secondary programme continues the work with a focus on life skills, and a minimum of 6 months is recommended. Stays of 1 to 12 months are possible, and the length is agreed with you based on the person’s needs. ### Which addictions do you treat? Alcohol and drug addiction, including cocaine, CAT, tik and crystal meth, heroin and nyaope, and prescription medication. ### Do you treat mental health conditions alongside addiction? Yes. Addiction often comes with depression, anxiety, trauma or other conditions. Our clinical psychologist and consulting psychiatrist provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a dual diagnosis. ### Is Aloe Valley faith-based? The approach is holistic and based on moral values. Daily spiritual teachings are offered with respect for all denominations and belief systems, and the Alpha course is available. Treatment itself uses CBT, DBT, individual and group therapy and the 12 Step programme. ### Do you treat both men and women? Yes. Aloe Valley treats adult men and women, with separate accommodation options. The centre is registered for a maximum of 45 adults. ### How much does rehab cost at Aloe Valley? Monthly fees start at R17,500 including VAT for shared accommodation, plus a once-off registration fee of R3,320. Fees cover therapy, nursing, the full programme, lodging and three meals a day. Medication is charged separately. ### Do you accept medical aid? Most medical aids are accepted. Send us your scheme and plan details and we will confirm cover and the medical aid rate before admission. ### Is there a discount for paying upfront? Yes. When 3 months are paid in advance, the monthly fee is 12.5% lower. ### Where is Aloe Valley? On a farm at Plot 119, R511, Hennopsrivier, near Hartbeespoort in the Magaliesberg.
